{SWEET} Hair Candy

Just in time for Halloween!  This photo shoot for Classy Sassy Girls by the ever-talented Laura Winslow of Laura Winslow Photography is right in time to show off some of our own {HAIR CANDY}!  I love how our headbands complimented the fun, frilly pettiskirts to make these photos SUPER SWEET!  What made for a sweeter day was collaborating with Kim from The TomKat Studio and her amazing team, Georgeann the owner of Smeeks and Frances Vintage, and meeting the other Moms whose daughters participated.  BUT THE SWEETEST had to be having my own daughter participate in the fun!  I love all these pictures, but especially the one of the sweet little girl in red and green! ;)

Our {HAIR CANDY} headbands are making their debut in photo shoots all over this season--and shoots like this make it SUPER SWEET.

I LOVE TOMKAT

 It's true.  I do.

I'd ran across her blog several times, but it wasn't until last year at a boutique that I met her.

Kim--the amazingly talented creator of The TomKat Studio walked right up to me with a smile and said, "So you're the one with the headbands...Good job!"  She handed me her card and said, "I'd love to feature you sometime!"  She'd watched me survive one of the craziest weekends of my life.  I sold out in just a few short hours--had gone home and stayed up much of the night to have enough to sell at the boutique the next morning.   

It was a scenario destined to happen, because I just can't get enough of Kim, and her awesome assistants, Andrea and Toni {below} and all the amazing good and wonderful things they do!  Not to mention, the wonderful, good people they are!  It has been a joy to get to know them--even collaborate on a few things  {more to come} and genuinely call them all friends.

Hitch Your Wagon to a Star

We just got back from a fantastic trip to Dallas.  We are SO excited about that great state of Texas!  One of the many places we'll be selling our headbands is  The Gypsy Wagon and my, oh my, it was a perfect fit!  It's got a little bit of everything and we are so happy our headbands are being offered there along with all there awesome goods.  We snagged a few shots along the road while we hitched "this wagon" to our star.
